Running a small business often means wearing too many hats. Hiring challenges, employee retention, leadership transition, burnout, onboarding gaps, accountability struggles, and building systems that actually work can make growth feel overwhelming.

T.H.R.I.V.E. was designed specifically for small business leaders to address these challenges head-on.

Over six interactive sessions, participants will gain clear, practical tools and people-focused strategies to strengthen leadership, improve operations, build stronger teams, and create long-term sustainability.

You’ll also build valuable relationships with other small business leaders who understand the challenges, and opportunities, of growing a business in today’s environment.

Create stronger hiring and onboarding systems that attract the right people and establish clear expectations from day one.

Culture & Care in the Workplace | Facilitator: John Conway, Valicy
Explore how to build a culture of care and trust while supporting employees through real-life challenges that impact engagement, retention, and workplace success.

WEEK 5 - Monday, August 24
Growing with Purpose | Facilitator: Emily Yeager - ECU Crisp Small Business Resource Center
Discover strategies, resources, and growth frameworks that help your business scale intentionally while maintaining operational health and long-term sustainability.

WEEK 6 - Monday, August 31

Bring it all together through accountability, systems, and actionable next steps to create lasting change beyond the program.
