2020 Small Business Leader of the Year

Greenville, NC (March 2, 2021) — The Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 2020 Small Business Leader of the Year Award.  In recognition of the outstanding achievements and contributions of our local small business owners, the Chamber annually recognizes three finalists and a winner for the Small Business Leader of the Year.

The Small Business Leader of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has not only demonstrated successful operation of his or her small business, but who also made significant contributions to the community and shown exemplary business leadership.  Nominees clearly reflect quality and dedication in the operation of small business (under 50 employees) in the Greenville-Pitt County area and provide leadership accomplishments including innovation, initiative, and civic responsiveness.

Small business is a major force in our local economy and contributes to the growth and vitality of Pitt County.  Small businesses create jobs, spark innovation and provide opportunities for many people to achieve success and independence.

The Chamber first recognized a Small Business Leader of the Year in 1985.  The 2020 Small Business Leader of the Year recipient will be announced during a special awards ceremony in May 2021.
