Richard Tyndall - Chief of Police
Greenville Police Department

Richard Tyndall was promoted to Chief of Police for the Greenville Police Department effective May 31, 2025.  Chief Tyndall's appointment follows more than two decades of dedicated service to the department and the Greenville community.  Chief Tyndall will discuss his strategies for effective community policing and the importance of public safety as it relates to Greenville's economic health and tourism.
