Safety along the South Tar Greenway has been enhanced thanks to a new public safety marker project completed by the Greater Greenville Chamber's Leadership Institute, in partnership with FROGGS and the Greenville Recreation & Parks Department. Reflective, high-visibility public safety markers have been installed along the greenway, spanning from Fairfax Avenue to Green Mill Run, to help users better orient themselves and enable emergency responders to quickly identify exact locations when it matters most.

This project was made possible through the generous support of FROGGS (Friends of Greenville Greenways), whose funding helped bring this important safety initiative to life.

Join us on May 11th at 1:30 PM for a ribbon cutting as we celebrate the completion of this project and continued investment in enhancing the livability and safety of the greenway for our community.
