2026 Legacy Business of the Year Award Nomination Form

Nominators are required to complete the form below in its entirety. At least one (1) letter of support is required to be submitted on behalf of the nominee and can be submitted by anyone. Nominees without at least one (1) letter of support will not be given consideration. A letter(s) of support must be received by Friday, August 28, 2026 and can be emailed to Aileen Peacock at aileen@greenvillenc.org.

Nominations are due no later than Friday, August 28, 2026.

Criteria:

• Must be a member in good standing of the Greater Greenville Chamber at the time of nomination and on the event date.
• Must be a locally owned and operated business.
• Must have continuously operated in the Greenville-Pitt County community for at least twenty-five (25) years or more.
• Must demonstrate sustained business success, effective leadership, and sound business practices.
• Must demonstrate adaptability and resilience through changing economic conditions, industry trends, or community needs.
• Must maintain a strong reputation for excellence, integrity, and exceptional service.
• Must have made lasting contributions to the economic vitality and overall well-being of the Greenville-Pitt County community.
• Must demonstrate a longstanding commitment to community involvement through the investment of time, talent, or resources.
