Dr. Maria Pharr, President
Pitt Community College
Dr. Maria Pharr was elected as the 6th president of Pitt Community College on July 19, 2024. Prior to serving seven years as president of South Piedmont Community College, Pharr served from 2011 to 2014 as PCC's Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs.
Dr. Pharr will discuss Pitt Community College's role as a catalyst for workforce development in eastern North Carolina, as well as her administration's efforts to ensure PCC is a model for employee satisfaction and place where individuals can cultivate the skills and talents needed to realize their dreams and enhance their lives.
