2019 Chamber of the Year

MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE) honored the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce as its 2019 Outstanding Chamber of the Year (for a chamber with over 700 members) during its Annual Management Conference at the Embassy Suites Oceanfront Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC.

The CACCE Outstanding Chamber of the Year Award focuses on acknowledging one or more significant achievements / accomplishments that a chamber has initiated, stimulated, and/or led in its respective service area at some point during the past 18 months.

“Receiving this award is a true honor and reflects the hard work of a great team, board of directors, volunteers and members,” said Kate Teel, president of the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce.  “Without our partners within the community and the work those before us have done, our Chamber would not be where we are today.  I am proud, each and every day, of the Chamber and the 950 members we work alongside on a daily basis.”

CACCE is the professional development organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities for chamber of commerce executives and staff members in North and South Carolina.  CACCE equips chamber of commerce professionals with leadership skills and tools to build innovative chambers.  The organization was formed in 1994 when the North and South Carolina state chamber associations merged.
