GREENVILLE, NC - Shyft Auto, winner of the 2019 Greenville Regional Pitch Competition presented by Uptown Greenville, is now one of the newest members of the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce.
On Wednesday, March 27th, co-founders Marcus Aman and Peter Seymour pitched their solution to the hassle that comes with servicing your vehicle. Their Shyft Auto app gives service facilities the platform to offer a Pick-up & Return service. Consumers use the Shyft Auto app for an Uber Eats-like experience while never leaving their home or office.
The co-founders bring a wealth of experience to their start-up. Aman has 11 years’ experience as a service director at a major Greenville auto dealer and Seymour literally wrote the book on Java co-authoring the Java 1.1 Developer’s Handbook.
According to the winners, the next step for Shyft Auto could take the form of partnering with a major player in the service industry, rolling out nationally with the support of one of the top 10 auto dealer groups in the US, or raising a seed round to increase awareness and meet demand.
“We’re honored to be a part of Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce,” said company CEO Marcus Aman. “Our team and our company have roots here and we understand the value of teamwork in building a strong business climate.”
