Greenville, NC (January 1, 2025) — Marianne K. Cox, executive vice president of Pitt Community College (PCC), will serve as Chairwoman of the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors in 2025. Cox has been a member of the chamber's board of directors since 2022 and was unanimously approved to serve as chairwoman by the board on December 18, 2024.
Cox joined PCC in 2011 as coordinator of the VISIONS Career Development and Scholarship Program. Prior to being named PCC's executive vice president, Cox served as vice president of PCC's Institutional Advancement. Cox received her bachelor's degree in education from Asbury College in Kentucky and later earned a master's in education from the University of Kentucky.
Paul Anderson, senior vice president and area executive for Southern Bank, will serve as chair-elect. Anderson has been a member of the chamber's board since 2023.
As the chamber celebrates this annual changing of the guard, the following new board members will begin a three-year term on January 1, 2025.
