Governor’s address to conclude Chamber’s 2017 Power Luncheon Series

GREENVILLE, NC - The Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper as the keynote speaker at its monthly Power Luncheon on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m., at the Hilton Greenville. This will mark the first time a sitting governor has spoken at a Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce Power Luncheon since former North Carolina Governor Beverly Purdue addressed Chamber members and guests in 2011.

Governor Cooper assumed office as North Carolina’s 75th Governor on January 1, 2017. Prior to his governorship, Cooper served as North Carolina’s attorney general since 2001. Governor Cooper, a native of Nash County, has spent nearly three decades in public service.

“The Chamber is extremely honored to welcome Governor Cooper as our guest speaker,” said Leo Corbin, president of the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce. “We look forward to having a record crowd for this event and I encourage the citizens of Greenville-Pitt County and the surrounding areas to attend.”

To register for the event, visit The cost to attend for Chamber members is $20 and guests are welcome at a cost of $30. Tickets include a buffet lunch and desert. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will be available upon arrival. There is a $5 additional charge for walkups. The Chamber’s 2017 Power Luncheon Series is presented by Ward and Smith, P.A.
