GREENVILLE, NC - The Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the promotion of Kate Teel as Vice President effective August 21st.

Teel has served as Director of Member Relations and Programs for the past year and a half with the Chamber. Additionally, she has held volunteer leadership roles with the Early Literacy Coalition Board of Directors and American Heart Association Executive Leadership Team as well as graduating from the Parents for Public Schools PEP program and being recognized as 2016 Young Professional of the Year. As Vice President, Teel will have added responsibilities to include: on-going financial oversight, annual budget preparation, staff development, media relations and serving as back up to the president - providing leadership and representation to in the community as needed.

“Kate has provided excellent leadership in her previous role of Member Relations & Programs and we are thrilled to welcome Kate in her expanded role at the Chamber,” said Leo Corbin, chamber president.

Teel is a native of Statesville, North Carolina. She is a 2007 graduate of East Carolina University where she majored in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in Communications. She and her husband have two daughters.
