The Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce and the Pitt Community College Small Business Center will host the second annual Eastern North Carolina Women in Business Conference on Thursday, March 3.  The conference is specifically geared to women in business, whether they are an owner, management or employee. 

“We are very excited about offering this event for women.  Women who work face specific challenges and this event will address some of those challenges,” said Susanne Sartelle, chamber president.  “We especially look forward to the networking opportunity this conference will present for working women across all business sectors.”

The conference will feature three topics from three dynamic speakers: Staying Healthy in the Midst of the Rat Race - by Dr. Susan Bane; Women & Social Media…when Facebook is Too Much of a Good Thing by Anissa Starnes of Constant Contact; and Laughing all the Way…Surviving the South with Grits, Greens & Jesus by Celia Rivenbark, Author & Humor Columnist.

The conference will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Goess Student Center on the campus of Pitt Community College.  The cost to attend is $99 per person or $89 per person if four or more attend from the same company.
