"After the response I received from Tuesday's Business Partner I want the Chamber to handle all my PR and advertising.  I have been talking to a couple off and on all year.  We had not talked in about six months.  He saw my ad in the Business Partner and called me.  We are doing business next week. I am even going to meet with his mother next week when she is in town from Charlotte!!! It will more than pay for the ad!!!!!!!"

"I am active in the chamber and decided to be an ambassador this year so that I could get to know other business owners and managers better.   I was at the ribbon cutting for WCTI Channel 12 News when they opened their Greenville office.  While speaking with the staff at WCTI, I met Don Fisher who is the general manager for the station.  He was familiar with our services and asked me to come speak with him about offering our benefits to their staff.  I am happy to report that WCTI is now a wonderful client of ours and they have a great group of people working there.  It was nice to get to meet some of the people that we watch on TV everyday giving us the news, weather, and sports.  My point is that if you make an effort to be active in the chamber then, you will most likely see a substantial profit in the small investment that it takes to be a member.

I am a Greenville-Pitt County Chamber Member and it is well worth it."

"As a North Carolina based company and especially being located right here in Greenville, Pitt Co. Attends Healthcare Products wants to participate in ventures that strengthen the business environment and enhance the quality of life in our community.  The Chambers Leadership Institute with its mission to “Build a diverse network of emerging leaders inspired to serve” fits well with our Company Principles and Values.  The result of this partnership will ensure that people and businesses in Eastern North Carolina reap the benefits of dynamic leadership opportunities developed through this program."

Just wanted to say congratulations to you guys on a great Business Expo - Best ever.  You guys did a great job.  We enjoyed being a part of it and doing Talk of the Town from the event.

Terriffic job at the Expo.  Thanks for having us as a sponsor.

By way of visiting the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce Web site and signing up as a newcomer to the area, Mr. Kevin Miller was able to research and locate housing, site unseen, from Pensacola, Florida.

On October 20, 2008, Meridian Park received the “Newcomer’s List” from the Chamber of Commerce, and information packets were mailed out.

On October 30, 2008, we received an email from Mr. Miller stating which apartment he was interested in, along with his application to lease with Meridian Park.  Mr. Miller moved to our community at the end of November, 2008.

The whole process was completed quickly and efficiently through email, phone and fax, and the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce facilitated through its Newcomer’s List.

I cannot say enough about the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce.  This is one of the best chambers that I have ever been involved with.  The staff is very caring and helpful and all of the events are great.

Since joining the Chamber 2 years ago, I have met many new business contacts and my business has significantly grown.  I have also made some great friends along the way.  This is the best investment a business can make.  Thank you Chamber of Commerce for a job well done.

I wanted to commend the staff on the enhanced website the Chamber has launched.  It is very user friendly and makes navigating through the programs and information simple.  Keep up the great work!

Congratulations on the successful launch of the new website.  I found it easy to manipulate and full of good news.

When I opened my own business this year, joining the chamber was the first thing on our company’s to-do list. I was active on the very first day and still try to make every function on the calendar when work permits. Within one week, the membership had paid for itself for the entire year. I formed new business relationships, met new clients, and experienced unprecedented local growth.  I’m always sure to put the Chamber of Commerce on the top of a reference list when a customer asks for references.

In my excitement to get more involved, I asked the Chamber about new programs and new ways to immerse our business in the local community, to get our name out there to people who could use our services. That’s when I first heard about the Member to Member discount program.  Within one week of joining the member to member discount program, the recognition and discounts available to members had already enticed enough businesses to call us that it paid for itself three times over.  I was actively sought out by businesses I had been trying to cold-call for two years and could never even get past the front door.  I strongly suggest that everyone take advantage of this program.

The Chamber programs, coupled with the enormous amount of energy and support offered by the Chamber staff in everything they do, are truly amazing. I’ve never met a group of people who truly commit themselves to helping me grow the way they do.

I really enjoyed being on Business Beat!  I  had a great response from people and enjoyed getting quite a few new customers. It was really helpful, thank you.

On Wednesday, April 11, a Leadership Group sponsored by the Chamber really out did themselves.  There were ten of them, both guys and girls.  Their leadership project was to clean and beautify the front and back yards of a Greenville resident's house.

Well, you wouldn't believe their expertise.  They raked leaves, cut the grass, trimmed shrubs, and even pulled ivy - a really big job. To the guys and girls in the Leadership Group, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

A special thank you to all of you for the Fleming House Reception and the Community Leaders Breakfast. As Don says, 'good stuff.' A good time was had by all and both events were fantastic. Thank you for all that you do at the Chamber to make Greenville and Pitt County such a great place to live.

Last night was one of the -- if not the -- best Chamber of Commerce annual meeting I have attended in my career in Greenville. Congrats on a job well done by you, your staff and the event planning committee. I'm proud of our local Chamber and really excited about my year ahead as a board member!
