OASIS is a program sponsored jointly by the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce, Pitt County School System and ASMO Greenville to encourage and recognize organizations and businesses for their volunteer efforts and resource contributions.
Like an oasis, Pitt County is rich with resources that can rejuvenate, revitalize and reinforce efforts to help every student succeed. Historically, businesses, organizations and the community have played a key role in education. Through OASIS, these partnerships between businesses, organizations and the school system can be strengthened and new ones developed to enhance the educational experience of students in Pitt County Schools.
OASIS represents a “new day” in our efforts to work collaboratively.

Every business and organization can become a partner and make a lasting difference in the life of a student. It is easy to become an OASIS partner - simply click on one of the links above and tell us what you're doing to assist our public schools.
Any business or organization (regardless of size) can become a part of OASIS. These participants can also receive recognition for their impact on improving education in Pitt County Schools.
Points are awarded based on volunteer hours, financial contributions or gifts in kind. Points are accumulated on a school calendar year. Every September or October, businesses and organizations will be recognized for their yearly contributions.
Financial or in kind contributions: $5.00 = 3 points
- 1 hour of volunteer service: 5 points
- Academic Success Card Sponsor: 50 points
- Cooperative Education Student Sponsor: 75 points
- Community-Based Training Site Sponsor: 75 points
- Fulfilling a Pitt County Apprenticeship Agreement (1year): 100 points
