According to the Financial Times, Europe's rival to the Wall Street Journal, proves the belief that Greenville has fared better than many communities during this economic downturn (as has Pitt County overall). 

In the first ever fDi magazine rankings, Greenville placed in the top 10 in four different categories, three of which Greenville placed in the top 5.
