The Chamber frequently monitors government issues that can have an impact on business, particularly small buisiness. Information is provided to chamber members as well as opportunities for input on particular issues.
Trips are organized to Raleigh and to Washington periodically to allow Chamber members the opportunity to interact with elected officials and to learn first-hand about timely issues.

- Gov. Bev Perdue at Power Luncheon
The Chamber’s Power Luncheon series takes place on the third Tuesday of every month. The series of luncheons are designed to bring in dynamic speakers that give the community a front-row look at government issues that may be of concern to business as well as timely topics of interest and relevance to our community, state and nation. Register for the next Power Luncheon.
